The roads in upper Ontario with a motor home are a whole other story. My goodness! I had to drive in a lower gear because it was a roller coaster of pavement. The twists and curves of the road between giant slabs of limestone and granite were often nerve bending. There were many times I was white knuckling the steering wheel.Poor lil Forest got car sick. Even with sedation and Gravol on board the poor lil dudes belly was wrecked.
I will admit that the scenery in upper Ontario is magnificent. The weather is starting to cool, but the leaves are hardly changing. It was beautiful. The cats have managed the road trip very well. Tortilla had a rough start the first day, but is starting to get her groove back. I must admit 3 cats in a motor home during the night time zoomies is a whole other experience. Annika , Asia and I have been having a snoring competition, it which I am winning (I can’t wait for my sinus surgery) .
I am understanding the beauty of my journey out west. With each passing mile it is getting clearer, and I am getting more focused
In the morning we went and saw Kakabeka falls. They are beautiful. Such a gorgeous campground to stay at. I love the sound of rushing water, it is so healing and relaxing. We headed out in the morning for Falcon Lake in Manitoba
